Another name for the summer solstice is Midsummer or Litha or Estival. It occurs when one of the Earth’s poles has it’s maximum tilt towards the Sun (so Cool!). June Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere and December in the Southern Hemisphere. The same months in the opposite Hemisphere are called the Winter Solstice.
Summer Solstice is June 21st,
The longest day of the year
and My birthday.
Have your ever looked up Summer Solstice? My favorite is Summer Solstice Parties. I found Solstice Rituals and even Summer Solstice Jewelry, beautiful photos, photos of the summer solstice. I was going to use a nice one with green and gold before I found out I cannot legally use other people’s photos on my blog without permission, I guess everyone knew that except me. I then realized that I have 365+ beautiful photos of my tree at the top of the hill. The tree that I walk to and photograph almost every day, it seemed like the sentimental choice. I will be posting about my tree, it became a symbol of not only how I coped with the pandemic but how the earth and the world coped with the pandemic.
I started this blog because I originally was going to write a book about “My Tree”. A lot happened on my way up the hill to the tree. That walk changed my life.

Live the Truth
It changes everything

I love the photo of your tree! Reminds me of my obsession with African trees . When I’m there and taking photos of so many trees the African drivers think I’m crazy . But they are such an anchor and symbol. I love that you used your very own tree !
Beautiful blog…love the sunflower and gardening tips!🌻
